The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Limerick. This is a hands-on role that blends data engineering, analysis, and visualization to unlock insights that drive performance improvements for our clients and enhance our SaaS platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect and integrate data from various client systems to identify operational performance trends and insights.
• Develop dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to prepare datasets for visualization.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from data warehouses into reporting layers.
• Collaborate with software developers to embed analytics into our proprietary SaaS solutions.
• Identify data patterns and trends that influence business decisions.
• Streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Define, generate, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Engage directly with clients to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that improve user experience and business outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Power Query—must be demonstrated with real-world examples.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying and transformation.
• Solid understanding of ETL workflows and best practices in data management.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their application in business analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including its integration across the Power Platform, and Azure components, for end-to-end data engineering and analytics workflows.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure is an advantage.
• Background in Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and communicate findings clearly.
• Proven ability to translate complex datasets into intuitive visualizations for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience leading data projects and mentoring junior team members in analytics and reporting best practices.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and effective in cross-functional team settings.

Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Limerick only.
