Since the challenges caused by the pandemic, Enterprise Ireland has offered several grants under Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) (2021-2026) to help Irish companies involved in logistics, manufacturing and the supply chain. The aim of these grants is to support businesses’ digital transformation, with less waste and greater efficiencies and competitiveness on the world stage.
What grants are there for digital transformation?
There are multiple grant options for digitalising businesses available from Enterprise Ireland and our team can help you find the correct grant to get your business on a pathway towards digitalisation.
The best place for businesses to start their digital transformation journey is with the Digital Discovery and Lean Start grants. The aim of these two grants is to help companies understand what requirements they have for their digital transformation. Both of these offers allow companies to work with WrxFlo to create a tangible roadmap for the company.
Following this, companies can avail of the more comprehensive Digital Process Innovation grant or Operational Excell Offer to work with us to transform their manufacturing, logistics and supply chain processes.
What is the Enterprise Ireland Digital Discovery grant?
The Digital Discovery grant supports companies in creating a strategic roadmap for their digital transition. This will include a review of existing systems, processes and capabilities and an exploration of new digital opportunities.
This grant is available to Enterprise Ireland customers with more than 10 full-time employees, or EI High Potential Start-Up clients with more than 5 full-time staff. The grant is also available to companies not working with EI, with 10 or more full-time staff working in manufacturing, engineering or any relevant industry.
Grant support is provided for external consultancy costs to help a company to develop a digital strategy, typically over an 8-to-12-week period, involving discovery, exploration and planning.
The grant will fund up to 80% of the project cost up to a maximum of €6,300 (€5,000 grant).
